1st Week Meeting Summary & Gantt Chart (11th- 17th July) In the first week, we did a work plan for the whole Stage IV and timetable for the first week. After that, we shared information we searched in books or online, which about shelf-life, packaging and regulations. In the second meeting, 13th of July, we had a meeting with supervisor Dr. Ho. After this meeting, we had a clear idea for what we should do for next few days. Firstly, we should pick some assessors who gave the lowest mark or no significant different marks, in order to check the reason again and collect some opinions. Secondly, we should conduct a questionnaire for the survey. Thirdly, we should serve the samples one by one and do the survey separated in two days. In this survey we could check if the assessors were confused about the sensory test. On 14th and 15th of July, we conducted the survey in the sensory test panel room. In those 2 days, we made more for each samples so that we can tasted ourselves and have our opinions to compare with assessors'.After the survey, Dr Ho suggested that a surface design test should be conducted, which can easily analyse and find the best combination for commercial test.
The analysis was tested by Huiying Shang during the weekend, and other group members did the searching work.
